How It All Started

Originally birthed as Whole Hearted Youth Outreach in December of 1993, The Front began with about 60 teenagers in a living room. A vision to equip young people to follow Christ wholeheartedly... "My servant Caleb has a different spirit he follows Me wholeheartedly therefore he'll inherit the land," Numbers 14:24. God is looking to heal broken hearts and see people wholly devoted to Him.

After the living room, we were given an empty church building which we called "The Fire House." When we out grew that, we moved into The Warehouse for over 6 years. We called it Hearts On Fire. During that time hundreds of youth would gather for worship and the Word. We saw many lives transformed! We also hosted many concerts including the early days of Underoath, Ev Angel (Copeland), Sagah 24/7 (Anberlin) and more.

After much prayer we moved into a storefront in May of 2003. At last count we had over 42 different churches represented as well as those who are new to the faith. The Front is a place of passionate worship and regional unity, igniting, equipping, and launching a generation into their God-given destiny! God meets us in incredible ways and we are seeing people healed, set free and giving themselves fully to Jesus! God has placed us strategically at the Manatee/Sarasota county line. He is raising up revivalists and reformers to bring awakening to our region, our state and the nations!
